“Protecting our waterways is very important because many animal's lives depend on it. From this people should know better than to litter everywhere because when they do this will pollute the water. After time all of those small amounts of garbage add up. If we don't enjoy our environment too people will not care anymore. Another thing that everyone can do to help our community is to save water and don't waste it. This is your responsibility and only you can be in charge of that. So how will you help the Earth?”

“I think that the answer to the question is simple, just don't litter. Like a turtle who usually eats jellyfish, but sometimes whenever you litter they mistake plastic bags for jellyfish and eat them. This usually kills them. Also, if you throw away the plastic around a 6-pack of soda a fish could get it's head stuck and suffocate. The mammoths are extinct mostly because some fell in natural oil pits and even animals today might die because of human-caused oil spills. My group made our wreath into a sea turtle to represent this answer.”

“Protecting our waterways, conserving resources and responsibly enjoying the environment protects water wellness. If we stop pollution and take out toxins in the water, then we can protect the fish. The fish are vulnerable to pollution and the bad deeds that we do every day. They are victims of bad habits and mean acts that are done to them. By protecting waterways we are saving fish. If you were to pollute in a lake, you're not only hurting or killing the fish in the lake, but the thousands of other fish in the ocean that the lake pours into. If we are responsible and enjoy the environment, we are expected to not to shower it with gifts of trash. The word enjoyment does not mean the same as making things easy by throwing trash in our waterways. When you see a lake and are holding a coffee, think about it. The cup does not just sink to the bottom and disappear. After time, trash builds up and could be hazardous to the environment. So put your trash in the proper place, not where it could hurt the environment. That is why protecting our waterways, conserving resources and responsibly enjoying the environment is important to protect water wellness.”
